Independent Restoration Disclosure

Los Resort is an independent restoration studio.

Any reference to original manufacturers, designers, or model names is solely for historical identification and descriptive purposes.  Los Resort is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those manufacturers unless expressly stated.

Restoration Characteristics

Each Los Resort piece is individually restored by hand.

Due to the nature of vintage furnishings and restoration processes, minor variations may occur, including but not limited to:

  • Slight texture variation after powder coat

  • Restoration may reveal historic wear beneath prior finishes

  • Slight dimensional irregularities

  • Exact vintage hardware replacement may not always be possible

  • Natural settling, tension adjustment, or softening in newly installed straps, slings, or upholstery materials

  • Hand-restored surfaces may contain subtle artisan variation

  • Original casting imperfections may remain visible

These characteristics are considered part of the item’s authenticity and are not defects.

Product Representation + Color Variance

We make every effort to accurately photograph and describe each item.

Due to:

  • Monitor and device display differences

  • Lighting conditions

  • Material reflecticity

  • Hand-restoration variation

Actual color and finish may vary slightly from website imagery.

Final Sale Policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all sales are final.

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Perceived color variation

  • Expected vintage wear or patina

  • Dimensional fit issues where measurements were provided

  • Natural restoration variation

  • Delayed carrier transit outside our control

Ownership Transfer + Risk of Loss

Ownership transfers upon confirmed delivery or customer pickup.  Risk of loss transfer to customer upon delivery acceptance or release to customer-designated carrier.

Damage Claims

Visible delivery damage must:

  • Be documented with the carrier at time of delivery

  • Be photographed in full

  • Include packaging documentation

  • Be reported to Los Resort within 48 hours

Claims submitted outside this window may be denied.

Delivery Access Responsibility

Customer is responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery conditions.  Additional charges resulting from restriced access, missed delivery appointments, redelivery, stair carries, or storage fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Storage Fees

Los Resort offers complimentrry storage for 14 calendar days following notice of order readiness.  Beginning on day 15, storage fees of $12 per day per order will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.  Orders remaining unclaimed for more than 45 days without written agreement may be deemed abandoned and subject to resale without refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Freight + Carrier Delays

Los Resort is not responsible for:

  • Carrier scheduling delays

  • Freight transit interruptions

  • Weather-related delays

  • Third-party shipping disruptions

Delivery estimated are non-guaranteed.

Chargeback Resolution

Customers agree to contact Los Resort directly at hello@losresort.com to resolve order concerns prior to initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.

We are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly.

Right to Refuse / Cancel Orders

Los Resort reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order due to:

  • Suspected fraud

  • Pricing errors

  • Inventory discrepancies

  • Inability to fulfill

  • Abusive or unreasonable customer conduct
